Earlier the Divisions under Delhi Service Tax Commissionerates were administratively under Central Excise Commissionerates. Thereby many assessees have been alloted old location codes. The database has been amended with new location codes. All assessees are requested to check their new location  code on http://sermon.nic.in/sermon/pan_search.html . Further all are requested to use new location codes only for all purposes including payment of dues even if it differs from that given in the Registration Certificate. New location for Service Tax Delhi begins with SE. New location codes are given at http://www.servicetaxdelhi.gov.in/rangecode.asp

In case the loaction code is wrong- it indicates wrong commissionerate, wrong division or range kindly contact your Range/ Division.
