News :  
  Government of India vide Notification No 01 of 2010 has modified Rule 7 of Service Tax1994 to the extent that Provided that where an assessee has paid a total service tax of rupees ten lakh or more including the amount paid by utilisation of CENVAT creditin the preceding financial year he shall deposit the service tax liable to be paid by him electronically, through internet banking The modification comes into effect on 01st April 2010
